The NEW addition

Ok...so here i am...i am new to this blogging world, so you have to give me some time to master this (like i do myspace...lol)..my wonderful friend Jessi helped to get me started, and i finally have the basics going :) i guess i start my very first blog with the story of our new addition...

Miss Lola

My moms cat (who was a rescue) ended up becomeing preggo...we did not know this until about 2 weeks before she delivered four adorable kittens...automatically i wanted one...why? i dont know...we have 2 dogs and a hamster already..of which i take care of all 3! But most importantly...Sammy is not fond of cats at all, and i knew he would not want a cat nor if i had asked...allowed me to even breathe the thought of keeping one!! so as the weeks passed and the kittens got older...i knew the day was coming that i would have to eventually tell him that WE have a new addition to the household..because soon she would be coming home...well.. i never did get up the "kahones" as you would say to tell him...instead..i just walked in with her one day after i went shopping. SUPRISE! i said as i walked into the house with her with a big, nervous smile on my face! well...he was not happy to say the least and told me addimitly that we were NOT keeping her, no way, no how. I sat there looking at this adorable kitten and told him...ok well have a "trial-run" for ONE night and well see how she does with the dogs and kids...of course he said.."were not keeping her! dont you get attached!" So long story short...the night went on and as she got aquainted with the new surroundings...so did SAM. The kids and i cought him eventually petting her and even picking her up and holding her...we all were very quiet as to not disturb the "moments" of him "liking" the cat...the kids and i never said anything to him,in the realms of us "keeping" the cat...and as the night went on..we heard him say to himself, while holding the cat..."you are pretty cute...i guess you can become a Carranza"...!!!!!!! I smiled so big to myself and i went upstairs to tell Lexi...the kids were exstatic and i knew the kitten had won over Sams heart.

I always knew Sam was a softy...lol...how do you say no a cute lil innocent kitten...they are like babies...(of which i want ONE more baby and am trying to convince sam for one...:) so with the acceptance of the BIG DADDY...we named her Lola...:)
